Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Tried + True website and the services we provide. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, contact us at hello@triedtrue.ca before proceeding.
Our services
Tried + True provides website design, search and AI-visibility, advertising, automation, and related growth services, typically delivered as an ongoing monthly partnership. The specific deliverables for your business are set out in your proposal or agreement.
Fees & payment
Services are billed as a recurring monthly fee, plus a one-time platform activation fee due at signing and applied to your first invoice. Payments are processed securely through Square, and Afterpay may be available at checkout for eligible orders. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (such as HST). Where advertising is included, the advertising spend is billed directly to you by the ad platform (for example Google) and is separate from our fees.
Term & cancellation
Engagements begin with a 12-month initial term and then continue month-to-month unless cancelled. To cancel after the initial term, provide written notice as set out in your agreement. Activation and work already delivered are non-refundable.
Ownership
On full payment, you own your website, its content, and the business accounts we set up for you — we do not hold your assets hostage. We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, processes, and underlying technology that we reuse across clients.
Lead guarantee
Where a lead guarantee applies to your plan, its specific terms (including the qualifying period and what counts as a lead) are described in your agreement. The guarantee is intended as a good-faith commitment, not a promise of any particular revenue or business outcome.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services for unlawful purposes or to provide content you do not have the rights to. You are responsible for the accuracy of the materials and information you supply to us.
Third-party services
Our work often relies on third-party platforms (such as Google, Square, and others). Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.
Disclaimers & liability
We deliver our services with professional care, but we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic, or sales, which depend on many factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
